CommUNITY Conversations: Finding Meaning in Life's Difficulties

CommUNITY Conversations: Finding Meaning in Life's Difficulties In-Person

Do the challenges and hardships we face have deeper value, or are they simply obstacles to move past as fast as possible?  If they do have value, how can we come out of today's global crises  as stronger and more resilient people and communities?

When we reflect on our most difficult moments, those are often the times we grow the most.  Many of life's most important lessons are learned through struggle.  So why are we so focused on avoiding these difficulties?  With this in mind, how should we - as individuals and as a society - approach the struggles that are sure to come?  And how can we build communities that keep us from facing hardship alone, and also help each of us grow through it?  What role can spirituality play in helping us build stronger and more peaceful communities out of times of hardship and injustice/

These chats aim to uplift, inspire and give expression to the human spirit; the conversations benefit from all participants’ viewpoints. Community members of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs are invited to contribute to elevated discussions, inquiry, consultation and learning. As we grow together and learn from one another we hope to build bridges of unity and respect for all humanity, as we work together to build our CommUNITY.
