CommUNITY Conversations: Gratitude and Generosity In-Person
Can a simple daily practice of gratitude truly restore our sense of peace amid the stress and chaos of modern life? Why is gratitude so powerful, and how can we harness it to enhance our mental and emotional well-being?
At it's heart, gratitude is about focusing on the good in our lives-even in the midst of difficulty. It shifts our attention from what we lack to what we already have, nurturing a mindset of abundance rather than scarcity, and improving our sense of well-being. And when we cultivate a grateful heart, might we also become more generous-both materially and spiritually-toward those in need? Gratitude can help us to open our hands to share more freely, our ears to listen more deeply, and our hearts to act with greater compassion.
These chats aim to uplift, inspire and give expression to the human spirit; the conversations benefit from all participants’ viewpoints. Community members of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs are invited to contribute to elevated discussions, inquiry, consultation and learning. As we grow together and learn from one another we hope to build bridges of unity and respect for all humanity, as we work together to build our CommUNITY.
