CommUNITY Conversations: Crisis of Truthfulness

CommUNITY Conversations: Crisis of Truthfulness In-Person

Are we facing a crisis if truthfulness?  In today's fragmented world, truth can feel elusive - distinguishing facts from opinions or falsehoods; blurred by misinformation, bias, and division.  Yet, it remains more vital than ever for societal progress.  How can we, both indificually and collectively, reorient ourselves to actively seek truth?

Can we balance the personal search for truth with the shared Truths that unite us all - acknowledging that "truth is one"? Are there qualities, such as humility and detachment, that help us discern truth in an age of overwhelming information?

What does it mean to pursue truth beyond convention, tradition, or personal belief?  How can we recognize its foundational role in building a just, cohesive, and forward-moving society?  What would it look like if truth guided our daily actions?

Come join us!

These chats aim to uplift, inspire and give expression to the human spirit; the conversations benefit from all participants’ viewpoints. Community members of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs are invited to contribute to elevated discussions, inquiry, consultation and learning. As we grow together and learn from one another we hope to build bridges of unity and respect for all humanity, as we work together to build our CommUnity.
