Genealogy Research: Family Search Skills In-Person
Presented by members of the Canandaigua Chapter NSDAR, Inc, this class focuses on how to use the full text search of FamilySearch.org to access primary and secondary genealogy documents such as deeds, land and probate records, and other vital documents.
Participants may want to create a free account at FamilySearch.org prior to our class, and be thinking of ancestors to research.
Please consider bringing your own devices and family trees, as DAR (Daughters of the American REvolution) volunteer genealogists will be able to assist you as you explore the vast catalog of documents in FamilySearch.org'
People with all levels of genealogy skills are welcome.
