Book Folding Class: Jack O'Lantern

Book Folding Class: Jack O'Lantern In-Person

Have you seen those amazing book sculptures and wonderd, "How is that done?"  This is your chance to find out!  This book folding class will teach you the measure, mark, fold (MMF) method of folding a book.  You will learn about the tools you need and the steps necessary to complete a book.  During this class you will create a pumpkin, just in time for Halloween!

We will provide everything you need to complete this project!  If you have a hard covered book with at least 160 pages that you would like to use, please bring it with you.  Otherwise, we will provide a book for you.

Welcome to FoldAfterFold. Krystyna and Hilary are retired pediatric occupational therapists who have taken their  passion for creating with their hands to reimagining a new life for old books.  They  take old, recycled and discarded books and carefully fold, cut or wrap each page to create a word, picture or design to celebrate a person, event or provide inspiration. The sky’s the limit on what can be done with an old book. Join us to learn the process of creating folded book art. Their  only warning is that it is highly addictive!
