Watercolor Fun with Toi! In-Person
This four-part class is for beginners AND more experienced watercolorists. With Toi Clawson, we will explore blowing, splashing and scrunching your color, as well as using glazes and salt for special effects. If you are new to watercolor, or just want to branch into a new way to add color to envelopes and stationery, this class is for you!
INFORMATION ON MATERIALS FOR THIS SERIES: If you have watercolor paints and brushes that you would like to use for this series, please bring them with you to class. If you don't already have supplies, Toi has made some recommendations regarding her prefered watercolors (Winsor & Newton Cotman set of 12) and brushes (Princeton). The library will order these supplies at about 50% off their retail prices, making them available to participants at $40 total (watercolors and brushes). If you would like us to order supplies for you, please click here to pay online with a credit card. (Limited partial scholarships may be available upon request. Please contact Greta for more information.) ORDERS MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE END OF THE FIRST CLASS to ensure supplies will arrive for the rest of the series.
