Nonviolent Communication and Engaging in Difficult Conversations In-Person
Many of us were brought up to believe that conflict is bad and ought to be avoided. As a result, our ways of dealing with conflicts swing between the extremes of avoidance and explosion, both of which can feel deeply troubling. Nonviolent Communication offers one avenue for engaging deeply with ourselves and one another, so we’re better equipped to keep building a future that works for all. In this workshop, we will explore the benefits of engaging productively with conflict and discuss strategies for having tough conversations.
Please join us for this important program, offered by the Gandhi Institute of Rochester.
