Foraged Pigment Painting In-Person
Join natural pigment artists and painters Hayley Dayis and Alexander Fals to learn how to make your own paints from clays, stones and soils. Alexander and Hayley will give a brief presentation on the origin of natural pigment painting, their process as painters and information about how to forage your own pigments anywhere in the world.
Participants will be able to choose from a variety of pigment colors and mix up paints with biodegradable glue and water. Students may wish to follow the guided painting tutorial or paint free form with their own imagination or reference photo.
