The Art of Contemporary Collage Quilting In-Person
Victor quilt artist Jean McCreary will bring a dozen or so of her award-winning pictorial collage art-quilts for a discussion of how she creates such quilts using raw-edge collage and thread painting techniques. She will show a PowerPoint demonstrating stages of works-in-progress. Jean's works have shown in galleries and museums in NY, one of her works is traveling in a national exhibition, and others will be on display at the Genesee Valley Quilt Fest at RIT in May 2024.
